<p>Thank you for joining the conversation on the Proposed Donation Policy!</p><p>Council has directed staff to conduct public consultation with respect to the proposed Donation Policy. The Township recognizes that residents may want to make donations to support Township projects, programs and services. This policy is meant to be a guide on the review and acceptance of such donations and to ensure that the Township acknowledges the donor appropriately.</p><p>The goal of this proposed policy is to establish an efficient process for managing donations, with the aim of generating revenue to support both new and existing facilities, projects, and activities approved by Council. The policy covers monetary donations, gift-in-kind contributions, sponsorship and naming rights agreements, and the Township&#39;s commemorative bench and tree program.</p><p>Before completing this survey, please review the proposed Donation Policy document attached. Your feedback is valued and will be considered by Council in their next review of the policy.</p><p>Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts by completing the survey below. Proposed Donation Policy 

<p>Thank you for joining the conversation about Sunday Gun Hunting!</p><p>Council has directed staff to conduct public consultation with respect to permitting Sunday gun hunting in the Township of Puslinch, known as Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) 87c.</p><p>Currently, a hunter can hunt with a gun within the applicable season in the Township six days a week. On Sunday&rsquo;s a gun can only be discharged for the purpose of target shooting safely on private lands or at a gun club. Hunters are only permitted to hunt on private property with expressed permission from the property owner. Puslinch has three conservation authorities and each have their own rules with respect to whether hunting is or is not permitted. To date, the following neighbouring municipalities have permitted Sunday gun hunting - Township of Guelph/Eramosa, Township of Minto, Township of Wellington North and Township of Mapleton.&nbsp;</p><p>History of Sunday Gun Hunting:</p><ul><li>In 2006, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Ontario Federation of Agriculture and then Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) provided authority to municipalities to opt in and permit Sunday gun hunting.</li><li>The MNR is responsible for the enforcement, approval and regulation of Sunday Gun Hunting in municipalities within Ontario.</li></ul><p>Should Sunday Gun Hunting be permitted in Puslinch:</p><ul><li>All of the applicable rules and regulations that gun hunters are required to follow Monday to Saturday would apply to gun hunting on Sunday</li><li>Residents and non-residents will be able to hunt year round in Puslinch in accordance with the applicable hunting season. Most animals&#39; hunting season occurs from the end of September to the end of February.&nbsp;</li></ul><div class="fr-view" id="project_description_text"><div class="description parent-description"><div class="truncated-description"><p>Your feedback will be considered regarding the proposed permission of Sunday Gun Hunting.
