The Township has been successful in receiving a provincial grant to support the beautification and streetscaping of both Aberfoyle and Morriston. As part of this project, two large community murals will be installed in the downtown areas of each community.
We are inviting residents to share their ideas and help shape what these murals could look like. What stories, images, or themes represent Aberfoyle and Morriston to you? This could include local history, natural landscapes, community life, agriculture, wildlife, or other features that make these places special.
We also welcome creative suggestions to make the murals engaging and visually interesting. Your input will help ensure the final designs reflect the identity, pride, and character of our communities. The artist will review and incorporate community input into the creative process while ultimately guiding the final design.
This community feedback will close on April 24th at 12:00 p.m.
This project is funded in part by the County of Wellington and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness. Any views expressed therein are views of the Township and do not necessarily reflect those of the Province.
