Thank you for joining the conversation regarding the 2026 Budget Process: User Fees and Charges!

The Township of Puslinch (Township) begins its annual Budget process by reviewing and updating its User Fees and Charges By-law.

The Township depends on revenue from property taxes, user fees and charges, grants and other revenue sources to provide quality Township services. User Fees are an important tool for collecting fees directly from the user who is benefitting from a service rather than the service being partially or wholly funded through property taxes. For example, those submitting Planning Act applications to re-zone their property pay an application fee (or user fee) to the Township which funds the processing of their application.

For more information regarding the entire annual Budget Process and User Fees and Charges view the FAQ's.

Council is seeking the public's feedback regarding the 2026 User Fees and Charges By-law prior to it being approved by Council. View the proposed 2026 User Fees and Charges Report under the documents section of this page or on the September 17, 2025 Council Calendar page.

The Township will be holding a Public Information Meeting on September 17, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments regarding the proposed 2026 User Fees and Charges. In addition to the Public Information Meeting, the public is invited to complete the survey below which will close on September 24, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
