Thank you for contributing your time and perspective to this survey. As a member of the Heritage Advisory Committee the feedback you share here should reflect the Committee’s mandate and perspective, rather than your personal views. Your input will play an important part in shaping the foundation of the Township’s new Strategic Plan, including the development of value pillars, mission, and strategic direction.
Please note a separate survey is available to the public on EngagePuslinch.ca, where community members, including Committee members in their personal capacity, will be welcome to share individual opinions and broader feedback.
Committee Mandate:
The primary function of the Heritage Advisory Committee is to advise Council and make recommendations on heritage designations, applications for repeal of designations, applications for alterations, and/or removal/demolition of Part IV and Part V properties under the Ontario Heritage Act. In addition, the Heritage Advisory Committee is responsible to advise Council of the potential local impact of new legislation relating to the Heritage Act, providing education opportunities to the public, and provide a forum for the exchange of information and engagement with the community.
