Check out the image below to see how your residential tax dollar is split between the County of Wellington, the Township and School Boards (based on the approved 2021 budget). It is important to understand how your tax dollars are split when prioritizing Township services and programs.
The Township of Puslinch and the County of Wellington are responsible for providing different services. The Township collects property tax for the Township and on behalf of the local School Boards and the County of Wellington. The Township does not have control over setting County services or service standards, that is a responsibility of County Council. The chart below lists the services provided by the Township and the County.
